Kintsugi is the Japanese art that teaches us how broken objects are not something to hide in shame but to display with pride. Kintsugi uses a precious metal – liquid gold or lacquer dusted with powdered gold – to bring together the fragments of a broken object and repair it while enhancing the scars. This is a one of a kind watercolour painting inspired by kintsugi. Materials: Aquarius Roman Szmal and Finetec watercolours on Hahnemühle watercolour paper. Dimensions: 24 x 32 cm The paints and pigments used for this work are extremely lightfast to ensure durability and high quality.
